Then go to you garage, you should see 4 cars you did not buy,(Drift) Ponitac GTO, (speed) Dodge Viper SRT10,( Drag) Chevy Cobalt,( Grip) Nissain 240s.If you sell them all you can get $90,000, but you con only do it once everytime you log into the game. They added more cars like, 2008 Camaro Concept, 67 Vett, Acuras, BMW Z4, 2003 Mustang GT, Ponitac Solicte, 2005 Honda Civic, Audi TT ( unlockable ). The version of the game is more advanced. My hint to all of you for all gaming devices, go to code entry and enter unlockallthings ( no spaces) then go back to main menu. This unlocks all cars, and tracks. This game is great, it is worth your money. If you have this game for WII, you will love it. This game is fun.
(REALLY bad voice acting). This game's user interface is centered around graphiti on concrete, with questionable mouse "user-friendliness." The "robot" people outside of the cars look like they did in cheap games 10 years ago.The car graphics aren't bad at all, and customizing is fun, but physics engine is almost too realistic, at least for my taste. I used to love Need For Speed, back when they put out NFS 3 Hot pursuit, Hot pursuit 2, Porsche Unleashed, etc.Now all they release is common "street" racing games with semi-ghetto/street vernacular voice acting. Damage looks real, but by the time you get some cool looking damage, your car is totaled anyway.I wish need for speed would start making the good ones again.
At theese settings, the quality is very poor, and looks like a game from 5 years ago. This game is fun, and i played it alot on xbox 360, however, my computer more than passes the minimum requirements, and i have to have the loswest graphic setting in order to play the game smoothly. If you buy this game, make sure you have more than a 3gb processor, more than 2gb or ram, and more than 256mb video card.
Being a prisoner of "Race Day" without being able to save until you complete the entire thing just makes you want to shut the whole thing off and find something better to do with your time. I love how on "Speed Challenge," the lens flare is constantly in your face regardless of which direction your car is pointing.7. Not being able to ESC the cutscenes is maddening after you've seen the same sequence the 200th time.4. Why not random position.
This is especially infuriating since there's not even any graphics for a damaged car: your car just flips over and over again without getting a scratch.6. Almost as exciting as poring over the works of Immanuel Kant. The general consensus of the reviews is that the storyline is unnecessary and boring, the physics of the cars feels unrealistic, there is no free-roam mode, and the controls seem unconvincing and slow to respond.I'd like to add a number of other things.1. Unfair how you start every race at the very back. You buy and upgrade cars, but they're nowhere to be seen on "Race Day." Instead, you are given other cars, which disappear once you exit "Race Day."3. I just taco'ed it until it snapped.I believe I've played all the titles in the Need for Speed series, and this one was a slog to get through. This game is confusing. "Drag Race" is confusing: when exactly are you supposed to start. Reading the manual didn't help, as the manual chiefly consists of such useless statements as "in a drag race, the challenge is to get the quickest drag time."5.
is this punishment. I've played a lot of games that infuriated me, but this one has the distinction of being the only one that got me so horn mad that I ejected the disk and physically broke it in two. The menus are Byzantine, and I found myself playing for quite some time wondering why I wasn't progressing until I accidentally discovered that I wasn't even in career mode.2. There's no way to click out of watching your car get totaled, which gets pretty infuriating after about the hundredth time.
The game is okay for beginners, if you some real Need for Speed, I would recommend Most Wanted.
